The Ripple Effect

Oil On Linen Canvas

13 x 18cm

If you ever have the opportunity to have a little picnic in the park, I'd certainly recommend you do. Take your blanket, lay it down, and just sit there for a few hours. You may experience this little moment that I did. I was just sitting there, looking around, and my eyes landed on this little fellow, waddling cautiously towards me. I just smiled. From behind him emerged his friend. Together, they walked up to us, peered at us, surely hoping for some food (but I wasn't confident we were allowed to feed them), and trotted along soon after. Exiting the park, I saw them swimming peacefully. It's strange, isn't it? The calming effect a little creature, minding their own business, can have on you.
